White Rabbit Candy Ice Cream

White Rabbit Candy Ice Cream transforms the iconic creamy candy into a smooth, sweet frozen dessert. The recipe melts White Rabbit candies with milk, blends the mixture into whipped heavy cream, and then freezes it to create a rich and creamy ice cream. The candy's unique flavor infuses the ice cream with a distinct caramel-like sweetness reminiscent of the original treat.

Ingredients

  • 35 pieces White Rabbit candies (1 small bag 6.3 oz)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup milk (I used 2 %, you can use any milk)

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Unwrap 35 pieces of White Rabbit candies (1 small bag 6.3 oz) and put them in the bowl. Don't worry about the thin rice paper, it is edible and will melt.
  2. After that, pour ½ cup of milk into the bowl with the candies. Then, put them in the microwave for around 1.5 minutes and until all the candies melt. (*I suggest putting it for 30 seconds, then stir and mix it. Repeat this step until the candy melts. Watch it very carefully because it may overflow.) Or, you can heat them up over the stove with a small fire until all the candies melt.
  3. Let the candy mixture cool off before adding it into the cream.
  4. In a mixing bowl, pour 1 cup of heavy whipping cream and use an electric hand mixer to whip the cream. Until the cream is thick, but don't over whip it.
  5. Next, add the melted candy mixture from step 3 into the whipped cream.
  6. Mix it well.
  7. Pour the mixture into a container and level it off. Cover it with a plastic wrap. Then, freeze it for at least 6-8 hours. The best result is to freeze it overnight.
  8. Then, unwrap the plastic wrap and scoop the ice cream out. The best is to wait for 1-2 minutes because it is easier to scoop it out.

Notes

  • Melt White Rabbit candies with milk in short increments, stirring frequently to prevent overflow and ensure even melting.
  • Allow the candy mixture to cool completely before folding it into whipped cream to preserve texture.
  • Whip the heavy cream just until thickened; overwhipping can affect the ice cream texture.
  • Freeze the mixture for at least 6-8 hours to achieve the proper set; longer freezing does not harm texture.
  • Adjust the amount of White Rabbit candies used to alter the sweetness level to taste.
