Ingredients

  • 2 cups Greek plain yogurt or vanilla
  • 1 cup granola
  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup mixed berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
  • ½ cup bananas sliced
  • 2 tablespoons almond slices

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Start with the yogurt as your base. Divide half of the Greek yogurt evenly between two serving glasses or bowls. Drizzle each with 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup (adjust according to sweetness preference).
  2. Spoon a layer of granola over the yogurt and honey in each glass, reserving a bit to garnish the top. Add a layer of mixed berries next, distributing them evenly between the glasses.
  3. Place a layer of sliced bananas on top of the berries. Divide the remaining yogurt between the two glasses, layering it over the bananas.
  4. Finish off with the remaining granola, a final drizzle of honey or maple syrup, and a sprinkle of almond slices or chopped nuts for an extra crunch.
  5. Enjoy the parfait immediately for the crunchiest granola texture, or refrigerate for up to an hour to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness: Tailor the sweetness by varying the amount of honey or maple syrup based on your preference and the sweetness of the yogurt and fruits used.
  • Customize your layers: Feel free to substitute any of the fruits or add additional types such as kiwi or mango for a tropical twist.
  • Keep it crunchy: For the best texture, add granola just before serving to maintain its crunchiness.
