Yum Yum Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (100 grams, 3.52 ounces) Mayonnaise such as Japanese mayo
  • 3 tablespoons (60 grams, 2.12 ounces) Tomato Sauce/ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • ⅛ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon onion powder
  • Pinch of granulated sugar or to taste
  • Pinch of salt or to taste
  • 2-3 tablespoons water optional

Instructions

  1. In a small to medium sized mixing bowl place the mayo, tomato sauce, rice vinegar, paprika, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, sugar, and salt.Mix together until well combined.
  2. Taste for seasoning, and add more salt and sugar if desired.
  3. If you want your sauce to be thinner in consistency, add a bit of water and mix through until it reaches your desired consistency.Serve immediately or refrigerate covered until chilled.
