Ingredients

Pork and Marinating
  • 150 g pork
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. white pepper
  • 1 tbsp. light soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • 3 tsp. cornstarch
Others
  • 1 cup Zha Cai shreds
  • 2 scallions, cut into sections
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 dried chili pepper , optional
  • 3 tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 tsp. sesame oil.
  • 1/2 tbsp. light soy sauce
For each serving noodle
  • 1 erving noodle
  • 1 tbsp. light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. chopped green onion
  • 1 tbsp. sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Marinate the shredded pork with salt, white pepper, light soy sauce, water, and starch. Set aside for 15 minutes. Add some extra oil to cover just before stir-frying.
  2. Add around 2 tablespoons of oil to a wok, then add the shredded pork. Fry until it turns light in color. Transfer out.
  3. Add another 1 tablespoon oil, fry garlic, and dried chili pepper until aroma. Then place the shredded Zha Cai in. Fry for 1 minute.
  4. Return shredded pork, and pour light soy sauce along the edges. Mix in scallion sections and drizzle sesame oil. Give everything a big stir fry and serve hot!
  5. Cook the noodles according to the instruction on the package. In a serving bowl, add green onion, sesame oil, light soy sauce, and a small pinch of salt. Transfer the noodles.
