15 Minute Italian Garden Pasta

Keep it simple with tomatoes marinated in olive oil with fresh basil in a pasta that's served hot or cold and ready in as little as 15 minutes!

Ingredients
- 1 pound Spaghetti
- 2 large tomatoes diced
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic about 2 cloves
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook 1 pound spaghetti according to package directions until al dente.
- Meanwhile, dice 2 large tomatoes. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil, minced 2 teaspoons minced garlic, and 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil. Stir to combine. Let sit and marinate until pasta is ready.
- Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the bowl with the tomato mixture. Toss to combine.
- Season with 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste.
- Serve warm or cold.
