Notes

  • Preheat your Air Fryer before cooking for the best results.
  • For the best results when making frozen fries, do not overcrowd the air fryer basket so that the hot air circulates well and the fries crisp up. This will ensure they cook evenly. A single layer is preferred, but if you can't, remember to shake the basket twice during the cooking time.
  • If your air fryer is small, you may need to cook these in two batches.
  • No spray oil, olive oil, or any extra oil is needed for this recipe.
  • Gently toss the fries during cooking for crispness. But if you prefer, you can use a spatula to toss them. Do it gently so they don't break.
  • If you want your fries to be the crispiest fries, cook them for a few minutes more.
  • Make sure you choose gluten free frozen fries if you are gluten free.
  • Use cook mode if you want to, but I prefer using the manual mode to air fry as I have fine-tuned the temperature and time settings to my preferences.

  • Air fryer temperatures can vary depending on the make and model. I recommend starting with less cook time, checking for doneness, then adding more time as needed for this air fryer side dish.
  • Storage - keep leftovers refrigerated for 2-3 days.
