													These ridiculously delicious and easy homemade french fries are quickly made in the air fryer.

                                Ingredients
- 2 medium potatoes russet or Yukon gold
 - 2 tsp olive oil
 - kosher salt
 - Optional seasonings as preferred
 - additional optional topping: herbs & grated parmesan
 
Instructions
- Without peeling, wash and cut the potatoes into about between 1/4 - 1/2 inch fries (or larger if you prefer).
 - Add fries into a mixing bowl of cold water and let sit for 45 mins to remove the excess starch.
 - Drain the french fries and dry them with towels.
 - Add the dried fries to a mixing bowl and mix in oil and salt (and other seasonings if you want to use them).
 - Preheat the air fryer to 350F /180C.
 - Spread out fries in a single layer, cook in two batches if needed.
 - Cook for 15 to 20 minutes or until crisp, turning halfway through cooking.
 - Garnish and serve.
 
Pressure Cooker French Fries
- Make sure your Instant Pot is unplugged.
 - Add the french fries in the cooking basket, place the basket over the trivet inside the Instant Pot stainless steel insert.
 - Place the crisp lid over the instant pot and lower the handle.
 - Plug in the Crisplid and set the temperature to 375F / 190C.
 - Cook for 9 minutes, open and shake the fries then cook for another 8-10 minutes.
 - Open the lid, remove the fries and serve warm.
 - Note- you would need to cook your fries in 2 batches.

- There are 3 Blue Plan SmartPoints in one serving.
 - add in Cajun season to make them into Cajun fries.
 - mix in garlic powder.
 - add in creole seasoning.
 - try it with stone house seasoning.
 - add some grated parmesan with some herbs.
