Ingredients
- 1.5 oz. silver tequila
- 1.5 oz. apple cider
- 1 Tbsp lime juice
- 2 tsp agave
- cinnamon stick optional garnish
- star of anise optional garnish
Cinnamon Sugar Rim:
- 1 Tbsp turbinado sugar
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- lime wedge

Instructions
- Combine the turbinado sugar and cinnamon on a small plate. Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip it in the sugar. Then fill your glass with ice and set aside.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, apple cider, lime juice and agave. Shake well.
- Garnish and serve.
Notes
- To make this drink non-alcoholic: substitute the tequila with some sparkling water, club soda, or ginger beer. You could also use alcohol-free tequila.
- There are technically 16g of carbs in this drink, but as we know, we have to account for alcohol calories too (alcohol is the forth macro), so I went ahead and divided the total number of calories by 4 to account for all the macros in this drink.
