Apple Snickerdoodle Muffins

Apple Snickerdoodle Muffins blend diced Granny Smith apples with traditional snickerdoodle spices and a tender muffin crumb. They feature a cinnamon sugared top brushed with melted butter, offering a sweet, warmly spiced flavor with moist apple pieces throughout. These muffins are baked until golden and lightly crisp on top.

Description

This recipe incorporates diced tart Granny Smith apples into a batter flavored with vanilla, cinnamon, and the classic snickerdoodle cinnamon-sugar topping. The batter mixes vegetable oil, sugar, eggs, buttermilk, and flour-based ingredients with spices and fruit, baked in a muffin tray at 350°F until set and lightly browned.

The texture is moist and tender, with soft apple pieces dispersed through the crumb, providing bursts of flavor and moisture. The topping adds a sweet cinnamon crunch that contrasts with the soft interior. The combination of buttermilk and oil helps maintain a moist baked good, while the cinnamon spice emphasizes the snickerdoodle profile.

These muffins can be enjoyed fresh and make a suitable breakfast or snack option. The recipe is adapted from Creations by Kara, suggesting a reliable blend of apple and cinnamon flavors in a familiar muffin format.
