Bacon Ranch Cheese Ball

This bacon ranch cheese ball is the best appetizer for any bacon fans! Serve this easy-to-make cheese ball with your favorite crackers for a snack that will disappear in a flash.

Ingredients

For the cheese ball:

  • 16 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese freshly shredded, sharp
  • ½ cup green onion finely sliced
  • cup Bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 packet dry ranch dressing mix 1 ounce, or 2 tablespoons homemade ranch seasoning mix

For the topping:

  • 2 tablespoons Bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons green onion finely sliced
  • ½ cup pecan finely chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Add in the rest of the cheese ball ingredients. Beat until well combined. 
  2. Place a large piece of plastic wrap on a flat surface. Spoon the mixture into the center of the plastic wrap. Bring up the edges of the plastic wrap to cover the cheese and form it into a ball. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
  3. Before serving, place the topping ingredients in a shallow bowl. Unwrap the cheese ball and gently roll it in the pecans, bacon, and green onions to cover.
  4. Serve with crackers.

Notes

  • The cheese ball base can be made up to a day ahead of time. Wait to roll the cheese ball in the toppings until just before serving.
