Ingredients
- 4 Russet potatoes
- 2-3 tablespoons olive oil canola oil, or melted butter
- Kosher or sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- Poke each potato several times all over with a fork. Drizzle olive oil, canola oil or melted butter over the potatoes.
- Sprinkle each potato generously with salt and massage to cover the entire surface of the potatoes.
- Place the potatoes on a wire rack set over a baking sheet and bake for 45-60 minutes, or until a fork or skewer goes through the center of the potatoes with no resistance.
- To cook in an air fryer: Place the prepped potatoes in the air fryer basket and cook at 400° F for 40-45 minutes.
