A simplified version of Banana Cream Pie made into bars with a no-bake crust and topped with layers of luscious ingredients.

Ingredients
- 45 crushed vanilla wafer cookie, about 1 ½ cups crumbs
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 (8-ounce) container whipped topping, thawed and divided
- 3 large bananas, sliced
- 2 (3.4-ounce) boxes instant vanilla pudding mix
- 3 cups cold milk
- caramel ice cream topping
Instructions
- Combine cookie crumbs and melted butter in a large bowl until the crumbs resemble damp sand. Press the crumb mixture evenly into the bottom of a lightly greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking pan. Chill in the refrigerator until needed.
- Add the cream cheese and powdered sugar to a large bowl with a hand mixer until smooth. Fold in 1 ½ cups of the whipped topping. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the chilled crust. Top with the sliced bananas.
- In a separate bowl, add box bothes of pudding mix and the milk, then beat for two minutes until slightly thickened. Spread The pudding evenly over the bananas. Top evenly with the remaining whipped topping.
- Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours before slicing and serving. Drizzle with the caramel topping before serving, if desired.
