Basil Vinaigrette

This fresh and vibrant Basil Vinaigrette is made with fresh basil leaves, champagne vinegar, and a hint of honey for a quick and delicious dressing or marinade, bursting with flavor!

Ingredients

  • 1 shallot
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 1/2 cups basil about 4 ounces, tightly packed leaves with stems
  • 2 tablespoons champagne vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place all vinaigrette ingredients into the well of a blender. Lightly season with salt and pepper.
  2. Blend until smooth. Adjust salt and pepper as needed and stir. Serve immediately or store in an airtight jar, in the refrigerator, for up to 3 days.
