Beer Battered French Fries Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 Bag frozen fries frozen - Do not thaw, any flavor
- 1 bottle beer
- 1 Cup powdered Pancake Mix
- 1 Teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 Teaspoon mustard powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- vegetable oil for frying
- Flour for coating
- parsley chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Mix the frozen potatoes with the flour until they are completely coated. Toss out the excess flour
- In a bowl whisk together the pancake mix, garlic powder, paprika, mustard and salt. Add the beer and whisk until completely mixed and no lumps form
- Working in batches, throw the potatoes inside the batter and shake off the excess using a slotted spoon
- Carefully insert the battered potatoes inside a big pot of oil over medium heat. Stir to make sure the potatoes do not stick together. Fry until they are brown and crispy. About 3-4 minutes
- Place the fried potatoes on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb the excess oil
- Add salt, pepper and parsley
- Enjoy!
