Ingredients

  • 1 Bag frozen fries frozen - Do not thaw, any flavor
  • 1 bottle beer
  • 1 Cup pancake mix powdered
  • 1 Teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 Teaspoon mustard powder
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • flour for coating
  • parsley chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix the frozen potatoes with the flour until they are completely coated. Toss out the excess flour
  2. In a bowl whisk together the pancake mix, garlic powder, paprika, mustard and salt. Add the beer and whisk until completely mixed and no lumps form
  3. Working in batches, throw the potatoes inside the batter and shake off the excess using a slotted spoon
  4. Carefully insert the battered potatoes inside a big pot of oil over medium heat. Stir to make sure the potatoes do not stick together. Fry until they are brown and crispy. About 3-4 minutes
  5. Place the fried potatoes on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb the excess oil
  6. Add salt, pepper and parsley
  7. Enjoy!
