  • 8 lices whole-wheat loaf
  • goat cheese
  • roasted beets see notes on how to roast beets
  • Orange slices
  • Honey drizzle
  • microgreens

Instructions

  1. Slice the bread thin, and, if desired, toast in a toaster or a skillet with a little butter or olive oil (I usually don't toast ours first, but it is tasty!). Spread with a thin layer of the white cheese, top with other toppings, and serve.

Notes

  • How to roast beets: I roast mine loosely wrapped in foil at 400 degrees F until they can be pierced with a fork, about 45 to 60 min.
