Best Trout Recipe with Lemon and Garlic

This oven-baked trout is perfectly seasoned and takes less than 20 minutes to make! Serve it with roasted potatoes and your favorite steamed veggies.

Ingredients
- 1 pound Rainbow Trout
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- salt and pepper to taste
- ½ lemon sliced

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Line a small rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the trout skin side down in the center of the baking sheet. Brush the top of the trout with half of the olive oil.
- Sprinkle the trout with salt and pepper. Add the minced garlic and top with the lemon slices.
- Bake for about 15 minutes until the trout is cooked through.
- Remove from the oven. Discard the lemon slices and serve.
