Black Bean Rice Pilaf

BLACK BEAN RICE PILAF is simmered in bouillon seasoning & broth and loaded with black beans. You won't believe how easy it is to make this old family recipe that everyone LOVES. No more need for a box!

Ingredients

Servings
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 6 ounces amen noodles crumbled into small pieces
  • 2 cups water hot
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 1 cup white rice
  • ¼ cup black beans canned, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tbsp onion flakes
  • 2 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1 cup bell pepper freeze dried
  • salt pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat
  2. Add broken noodles & cook until slightly brown
  3. Add bouillon, rice, seasonings & water
  4. Cover & cook over low for approx 20 minutes or until rice is cooked
  5. Add freeze dried bell peppers
  6. Stir gently & serve
