Ingredients
- 1 can jumbo biscuits 5 count
- ¾ cup blueberry pie filling
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Sparkling Sugar
Instructions
- Divide each biscuit in half.
- Roll each piece of dough into a ball and flatten it to ¼ inch thick.
- Scoop about 1 tablespoon of filling into the center of the dough.
- Pinch two sides of the dough together and then pinch the opposite sides together until the dough is closed around the filling. Don't overfill the biscuits.
- Repeat for all the dough.
- Place parchment paper in the bottom of the air fryer basket or spray it with oil. Place the biscuit bites in the air fryer basket, keeping them about 1 inch apart.
- Air fry at 350°f for 8 minutes.
- Melt the butter. Then brush the biscuit balls with butter and sprinkle them with the sparkling sugar.
- Take them out of the air fryer and let them cool slightly before eating.
Notes
- I like to use biscuits with flaky layers in this recipe.
- Don't overfill the biscuits, or you might have an explosion in your air fryer. One tablespoon per pie bomb is the right amount to use.
