Bread Machine Breadsticks

Bread Machine Breadsticks are made from a simple dough prepared in a bread machine dough cycle, then shaped into small ropes and baked until golden. The dough includes butter, sugar, salt, bread flour, and yeast, providing a balanced base for the breadsticks. A glaze of egg white and water is brushed on top before baking, then sprinkled with toppings like garlic, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning for added flavor. These breadsticks have a soft interior with a slightly crisp exterior, ideal as a side or snack.

Description

Bread Machine Breadsticks start with a straightforward yeast dough made in a bread machine, ensuring consistent rising and mixing. Once the dough cycle completes, the dough is divided and rolled into 6–8-inch ropes. After a brief second rise, an egg white glaze is applied to promote a golden finish and help the toppings adhere. Garlic, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning offer a savory and aromatic complement. Baking at 400°F for about 12-15 minutes results in breadsticks with a pleasant crust and tender crumb. These breadsticks work well alongside Italian dishes, soups, or salads, and can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature.

The recipe relies on the bread machine for dough preparation, simplifying the process and making it accessible for home cooks. No additional notes are supplied, but they are best consumed fresh for optimal texture.
