Ingredients
- 2 hearts of romaine (halved, lengthwise)
Caesar Dressing
- ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon anchovy paste (optional)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 lemon (juiced)
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
Sourdough Croutons
- 2 cups sourdough bread cubes
- ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon cayenne
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 300 degrees. Toss bread cubes in a bowl with olive oil, salt, garlic powder and cayenne then spread in an even layer on baking sheet. Bake until golden brown and crunchy, about 20 minutes.
- Whisk together dressing in a bowl; set aside.
- When you're ready to assemble, place romaine hearts on a platter and drizzle with dressing and top with croutons.
