This sweet and salty candied walnuts recipe is snacking perfection - one of the easiest candy recipes and made in under an hour!

Ingredients
- ⅔ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 egg white
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 pound walnuts, halved
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 250°F.
- In a small bowl mix the sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk the egg white and vanilla together until it is frothy.
- Add the walnuts to the egg white froth and toss. Then add the sugar mixture to the walnuts and mix until all the walnuts are evenly coated.
- Evenly spread the walnuts onto a baking sheet. Bake for one hour or until brown. Be sure to stir the walnuts every 20 minutes.
Notes
- Store in airtight containers at room temperature and they should easily last for 2 weeks or even longer. They are also freezeable for up to 2 months.
