This easy recipe will take everyday canned black beans and transform them into an amazingly flavorful black bean recipe that is a delicious side dish and the perfect filling for a main dish.

Ingredients
- 30 oz canned black beans (2 cans)
- 1/2 onion finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic pressed
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar (optional)
Garnish
- Freshly chopped cilantro

Instructions
- In a medium pot, heat the oil over medium. Once hot, sauté the onion until translucent. Then add the garlic, cumin, and oregano and and continue to sauté 1 additional minute.
- Add both cans of beans (not drained) to the pot, and simmer covered for 10 minutes.
- Stir in the apple cider vinegar and simmer uncovered for 5 more minutes.
- Serve warm garnished with cilantro.
