Caramel Peanut Butter Pretzel Cookies

These cookies blend peanut butter and caramel with crunchy mini pretzels, offering a combination of sweet, salty, and nutty flavors. The batter uses both white and brown sugar plus buttermilk for a balanced sweetness and texture. Mini pretzels give a salty crunch while caramel bits add bursts of soft sweetness. Baking at moderate temperature produces soft yet structured cookies suitable for a snack or dessert.

Description

Caramel Peanut Butter Pretzel Cookies mix softened butter and peanut butter with both white and brown sugars to form a rich, sweet base. Vanilla and buttermilk add moisture and tenderize the dough. Dry ingredients including baking powder and soda provide leavening, while salt balances the sweetness.

Incorporating crushed mini pretzels adds a salty crunch contrasting with the chewy texture from peanut butter and caramel bits. Baking at 350 degrees F for about 10 minutes, the cookies set with a soft center and crisp edges.

These cookies pair well with milk or as a satisfying sweet treat. Cooling on a rack preserves texture and prevents sogginess from residual heat.
