Cheeseburger Sliders

Cheeseburger sliders topped with a sweet and tangy glaze.

Ingredients
Sliders
- 24 dinner-sized rolls
- 3 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese divided
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 cup diced onion
- 14.5 ounce can diced tomatoes drained
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Glaze
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease 2 9x13-inch baking dishes. Set aside.
- Cut the rolls in half horizontally.
- Do not separate individual rolls.
- Place the bottom half of 12 of the rolls in one baking dish and the bottom half of the other 12 rolls in the second baking pan.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of cheese over bottom half of rolls in one pan. Repeat with 1 cup of cheese in the second pan.
- Set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef until no longer pink.
- Drain and return to pan.
- Add onion, and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until onion has softened.
- Stir in tomatoes, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Cook, stirring regularly, for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat.
- Divide the beef mixture between the rolls in the two pans.
- Sprinkle 3/4 cup cheese over rolls in the first pan.
- Repeat with remaining 3/4 cup cheese in the second pan.
- Place the top halves over the rolls in each pan.
- To make the glaze, heat butter, brown sugar, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce in a microwave-safe bowl for 15 seconds.
- Stir.
- Continue heating and stirring until the butter has melted and mixture is combined.
- Brush half of the glaze over the tops of the rolls in the first pan.
- Repeat with the remaining glaze and the remaining half rolls.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through.
Notes
- Dinner rolls: You can use Hawaiian rolls for a sweeter slider.
- Cheese: Feel free to use more or less cheese to taste. Also, you can use any variety of shredded cheese you like.
- Ground beef: Ground turkey also works well in this recipe.
