Ingredients
- 250 g Fettuccine pasta
- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- salt and black pepper Adjust to taste
- 50 g butter Unsalted
- 300 ml double cream
- 50 g Parmesan Cheese Grated
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- parsley Fresh for garnish
Instructions
- Start by cooking the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and no longer pink in the centre. Remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.
- In the same skillet, add the unsalted butter and let it melt.
- Pour in the double cream and stir well.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, then continue to stir until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to combine.
- Place the cooked fettuccine pasta on serving plates.
- Slice the cooked chicken breasts into thin strips.
- Arrange the sliced chicken on top of the pasta.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately!
