Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breast cooked and cubed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or sesame oil
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • ¼ teaspoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 teaspoon peeled & minced fresh ginger
  • 2 teaspoon cornstarch
  • sesame seeds and chopped green onions optional, for serving

Instructions

  1. Add olive oil to a large skillet over medium high heat.
  2. Add chicken to the skillet and cook until fully warmed through, about 7-9 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, make the sauce: whisk together soy sauce, water, brown sugar, honey, vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch.
  4. Pour sauce into the skillet with the cooked chicken, and stir to combine. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, until thickened.
  5. Recommended: Serve over white rice, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
