Ingredients
- 2 chicken breast cooked and cubed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or sesame oil
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup water
- 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- ¼ teaspoon sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 3 teaspoon peeled & minced fresh ginger
- 2 teaspoon cornstarch
- sesame seeds and chopped green onions optional, for serving
Instructions
- Add olive oil to a large skillet over medium high heat.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook until fully warmed through, about 7-9 minutes.
- In a small bowl, make the sauce: whisk together soy sauce, water, brown sugar, honey, vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch.
- Pour sauce into the skillet with the cooked chicken, and stir to combine. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, until thickened.
- Recommended: Serve over white rice, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.

- Storage: Store chicken teriyaki in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 days, or freeze for 3 months.
