  • 1 cup peanut butter *creamy is what I used, chunky works too
  • 6 tablespoon honey
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 2 cups chocolate chips I used semi sweet, melted

Instructions

  1. Line a muffin pan with muffin liners or spray with cooking spray.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the peanut butter, honey, and salt over medium heat.
  3. Once smooth, add the rice krispy cereal to a medium bowl and pour the peanut butter mixture on top.
  4. Stir to fully coat the cereal.
  5. Fill each muffin cup 2/3 full with the cereal mixture and press firmly to pack it down.
  6. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl.
  7. Spoon melted chocolate onto the tops of the peanut butter cups.
  8. Place muffin tray in refrigerator to set up.
