Instructions

  1. Line a half-sheet pan with waxed paper or parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips in 20-second increments until smooth. Transfer melted chocolate to a tall glass.
  3. Carefully skewer 3 marshmallows onto each candy cane. (Candy canes can break easily in this step, so try to handle them gently).
  4. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes.
  5. Carefully dip the marshmallows into the melted chocolate and allow the excess to drip back into the glass.
  6. Transfer the dipped marshmallow cane to the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Garnish with sprinkles or tint chocolate in red and green and pipe candy stripes.
  8. Using a piping bag of resealable bag with the corner cut out.
  9. Allow to set in the refrigerator for 5-10 minutes until set! Enjoy!

Notes

  • Unwrap the part of the candy cane you will be skewering the marshmallows on and leave the the rest of the cane wrapped. This prevents you hand from from getting sticky.
  • Don’t squeeze the candy cane too hard or it will break during dipping.
  • Don't leave the marshmallows in the fridge too long. This may lead to the chocolate cracking. Just chill until set.
