Cinnamon Roll Quick Bread

The Cinnamon Roll Quick Bread delivers the sweet, spiced flavors of traditional cinnamon rolls in an easy-to-make loaf form. It features a tender crumb made with flour, baking powder, egg, milk, and vegetable oil, layered with cinnamon sugar swirls. The loaf is topped with a creamy frosting of butter, powdered sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla, providing a rich and smooth finish similar to classic cinnamon roll icing.

Description

This Cinnamon Roll Quick Bread recreates cinnamon rolls' comforting taste and texture using a quick bread method. The dough is mixed with common baking ingredients including flour and baking powder, resulting in a lightly risen, soft crumb. The cinnamon sugar filling is layered between portions of batter in the loaf pan to create swirls of sweet and spicy goodness once baked.

The bread is baked in either mini loaf pans or a single large pan, allowing for stovetop control and variation in baking time. After baking and a brief cooling, it is finished with a drizzle of a frosting made from softened butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract, offering a classic creamy sweetness typical of cinnamon rolls.

This loaf bread is suited for breakfast or a sweet snack and can be sliced and served warm or at room temperature. Adjust the amount of frosting based on preference for sweetness.
