Coconut-Honey Doggie Cake
Report
An easy doggie cake made with only a handful of ingredients and perfect for celebrating your pup's birthday!
Share:
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons refined coconut oil melted
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 eggs
- 1¾ cup all-purpose flour
- yogurt for frosting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease two 7-ounce ramekins; set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil, honey and eggs. Stir in the flour until totally absorbed.
- Divide the batter between the two ramekins and baked until lightly browned and firm when pressed in the center, 15 to 20 minutes.
- Cool in the ramekins, then remove them and fill and frost with plain yogurt. Serve!
Notes
- Note: The original recipe called for almond flour, which would be healthier for your pup, but I avoid baking with nut products at home with Joseph. So feel free to substitute almond flour for the all-purpose flour if you'd like! No need to adjust anything else.
