Corn Flakes French Toast Sticks

Makes for the perfect, quick and easy breakfast for everyone in the family!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter unsalted
  • 2 egg large
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch nutmeg
  • 4 lices bread cut into 1-inch thick strips
  • 2 cups corn flakes crushed
  • maple syrup for serving

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together, eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  3. Working one at a time, dip bread strips into the egg mixture, then dredge in the crushed Corn Flakes, pressing to coat.
  4. Working in batches, add bread strips to the skillet, 3-4 at a time, and cook until evenly golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  5. Serve immediately with maple syrup.
