Servings

Seasoning mixture

  • cup powdered buttermilk 34 g, dry
  • 2 tablespoons parsley dried
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried onion flakes
  • 2 teaspoons dried dill weed
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon ground mustard
  • ½ teaspoon cumin

Dressing

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning cowboy style
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 1-2 tablespoons whole milk optional, as needed for desired consistency

Instructions

Cowboy Ranch Seasoning Blend

  1. In a small bowl, whisk all the ingredients together until well blended. For a more finely-ground seasoning, pulse the mixture in a food processor. This will make about ¾ cup of seasoning mix.
  2. Store the seasoning in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. It will last for up to 3 months.

Cowboy Ranch Dip

  1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, cowboy ranch seasoning, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and liquid smoke. Whisk everything together until the mixture is smooth and the seasoning is fully incorporated. This will yield about 1 ¾ cups of dip.
  2. Store dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It will last up to a week.

Cowboy Ranch Dressing

  1. Adjust the thickness of the mixture into a dressing by adding 1-2 tablespoons of whole milk, or enough to reach your desired consistency. This yields approximately 1 ¾-2 cups of dressing.
  2. Store dressing in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It will last up to a week.
