Ingredients
- 8 lices sourdough bread
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 Tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar and vanilla extract in a bowl.
- Preheat a griddle over medium heat to 350 degrees F (or use a large skillet). Grease the griddle or pan with the butter.
- Dip each slice of the sourdough bread for approximately 30 seconds per side.
- Then place the coated bread slices on the griddle and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
Notes
- Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
