Cranberry Tea
Description
This Cranberry Tea recipe begins by boiling fresh cranberries in water before gently simmering for 30 minutes to extract their tartness. Sugar is added to balance the natural acidity, along with citrus juices from orange and lemon to enhance brightness. Whole cinnamon sticks and cloves add warm spiced notes to the infusion, while a small pinch of salt accentuates the flavors.
After simmering and seasoning, the tea is allowed to steep off heat for an hour, ensuring the spices and fruit flavors meld fully. It can be served with the cranberries left in or strained out, depending on preference. This tea is versatile, enjoyable both warm as a comforting beverage or chilled over ice for a refreshing twist.
