Creamy Basil Dressing

You will love the taste of this homemade salad dressing with fresh lemon and basil. With all this fresh, delicious flavor, you’re going to want to put it on everything!

Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise I prefer Best Foods.. or Hellmann's for you East coasters
- 1 cup green onion chopped, white and green parts
- 1 cup basil leaves chopped, FRESH
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice 2 lemons
- 2 teaspoons garlic chopped, 2 cloves
- 2 teaspoons anchovy paste
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Place the mayonnaise, green onion, basil, lemon juice, garlic, anchovy paste, salt and pepper in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Add the sour cream and process until just blended.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve. For best results, refrigerate overnight.
- Add a little milk if it needs to be thinned before serving.
