Ingredients

  • 1 chickpeas 15 oz can, drained & rinsed
  • ½ tsp cumin ground
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt sea salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp Coriander
  • ½ tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Coat a baking sheet with some olive oil cooking spray.
  2. Rinse and dry the chickpeas well.
  3. Place the dried chickpeas on the prepared baking sheet and place them into the oven to roast for 15 minutes.
  4. Prepare the seasonings while the chickpeas are roasting by combining the cumin, paprika, garlic powder, sea salt, black pepper, onion powder, and coriander together in a small dish.
  5. Mix until well combined.
  6. Remove the chickpeas from the oven and drizzle them with olive oil and then the spices.
  7. Carefully, toss to coat with a spatula until the chickpeas are evenly coated.
  8. Return to the oven and roast for an additional 10 minutes.
  9. Stir then continue roasting for another 10 minutes, or until desired crunchiness is achieved.
  10. Turn the oven off and crack the door open.
  11. Allow the chickpeas to cool in the oven to achieve maximum crunchiness.
  12. Eat as a snack or use as a salad topper. Enjoy.
