Cucumber Apple Smoothie

This Cucumber Apple Smoothie blends fresh cucumber, tart green apples, mint leaves, and lime juice with water and optional honey for sweetness. The result is a refreshing, light beverage with a subtle balance of crisp vegetable and fruity flavors accented by mint and citrus.

Description

The smoothie combines peeled and chopped cucumber and green apples, along with fresh mint leaves and freshly squeezed lime juice. Blending these with still or sparkling water creates a light, hydrating drink. The optional addition of honey or agave nectar provides gentle sweetness to complement the sourness from the apples and lime.

The flavors merge to deliver a crisp texture from the cucumber and apple pieces, a slight brightness from the lime, and cool herbal notes from the mint. Using either sparkling or still water adjusts the mouthfeel slightly, without changing the fundamental refreshing character.

This smoothie works well as a hydrating snack or a mild palate cleanser. Using tap water or apple juice as alternatives is mentioned, and leaving out the sweetener keeps it naturally tart and fresh.
