Easy Meatball Sliders

Easy Meatball Sliders assemble cooked meatballs on slider buns with pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese, baked until the cheese melts and the tops are golden. Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese add an herby, savory finish. The sliders are brushed with olive oil before baking to crisp the buns slightly while keeping the filling moist and flavorful, offering a convenient party or snack-sized sandwich.

Description

This recipe layers cooked meatballs on slider buns, spooning pizza sauce over the meat and topping with shredded mozzarella cheese. After adding the tops of the buns brushed with olive oil, a mixture of Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning is sprinkled over the sliders. Covered with foil, the dish bakes first to heat through and melt the cheese, then uncovered to brown the tops slightly.

The sliders feature warm, saucy meatballs softened by melted cheese and a herby topping. The olive oil brushed on the buns helps them brown and adds subtle richness. The baked assembly keeps everything together and creates a handheld, flavorful slider perfect for casual meals or gatherings.

These sliders work well for appetizers or casual dinners and can be easily customized with different sauces or cheese types. They reheat well and are quick to prepare with pre-cooked meatballs.
