  • 1 1/2 cups tahini paste
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup nuts optional, chopped

Instructions

  1. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and water.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, and insert a candy thermometer. When the syrup hits 250 degrees Fahrenheit, turn off the heat.
  4. In a large mixing basin, whisk together tahini, salt, and vanilla essence.
  5. Carefully stir the syrup and nuts into the tahini mixture until well blended.
  6. Fill the loaf pan halfway with the mixture. Allow it to cool completely before removing it from the oven. Serve and enjoy!
