Easy Mojito
Report
If you're looking for a refreshing and flavorful cocktail to enjoy on a warm summer day, look no further than the mojito. This classic Cuban cocktail is the perfect combination of tart lime, sweet sugar, and cool mint, all mixed with rum and soda water to create a refreshing and delicious drink perfect for sipping on a sunny afternoon. The mojito's origins are a bit murky, but it is believed to have been invented in Havana, Cuba, in the early 20th century. The original recipe called for the use of tafia, a low-quality rum, but today's version is typically made with a good-quality white rum, such as Bacardi.

- So if you're planning to store it for more than a few hours, consider removing the mint leaves from the mixture before refrigerating it to avoid the drink becoming too minty. It's important to note that once you add the soda water, the drink will start to lose its fizz over time. For this reason, it's best to only add the soda water before serving.
