Frozen Brussel Sprouts Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces Brussels sprouts 453g, frozen
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees F / 190 degrees C.
  2. In a medium bowl, toss the frozen Brussel sprouts with olive oil and garlic powder until they are well coated.
  3. Place the frozen Brussels sprouts in a single layer inside the air fryer basket.
  4. Air fry for 9-15 minutes, or until they reach the desired tenderness and have a crispy char. Turn them over (or shake the basket) at least once during cooking.

Notes

  • Overfilling your air fryer basket will prevent the edges of the Brussel sprouts from crisping. Cook in batches if you prefer crispier edges. 
  • Layer the Brussel sprouts in the air fryer in a single layer, so they evenly cook. 
  • Turn (or give the air fryer basket a good shake) halfway through cooking time. 
  • If the sprouts are not as tender as you would like, continue cooking until they are done. Spritz with a little more olive oil if they get too crispy. 
  • Cooking time in this recipe is a guide. Adjust the air fry cooking time as needed.
