Garlic Parmesan Roasted Broccoli

Garlic Parmesan Roasted Broccoli takes fresh broccoli florets tossed with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper and roasts them until tender with lightly crisped edges. Finished with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and a squeeze of lemon juice, it offers a balance of savory, bright, and garlicky flavors perfect as a side dish.

Description

This recipe involves roasting broccoli florets at a high temperature to achieve a tender interior with some caramelized, crispy edges. The broccoli is coated in olive oil and minced garlic, seasoned with salt and pepper to enhance natural flavors during roasting. The process is quick, about 10 to 12 minutes, ensuring the broccoli remains vibrant.

After roasting, the broccoli is immediately garnished with fresh Parmesan cheese which melts slightly on the hot surface. Lemon juice adds a refreshing acidity that cuts through the richness of the cheese and olive oil. The resulting dish is savory yet fresh, combining earthiness of broccoli, pungency of garlic, and tang from lemon.

Served hot, this roasted broccoli complements a range of main dishes and brings a flavorful vegetable option to the table. Using about 5 cups (24 ounces) of broccoli florets gives a generous side serving.
