Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless chicken breasts or thighs cut into bite-size chunks
- ¼ cup Greek yogurt
- ¼ cup olive or avocado oil
- 2 Tablespoons lemon or lime juice
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 2 teaspoons EACH ground cumin, ground coriander, smoked paprika, kosher salt (or to taste)
- ½ teaspoon EACH 7 spice (or allspice), ground cinnamon, turmeric, black pepper

Instructions
- Whisk the Greek yogurt, oil, lemon, garlic, and spices in a large bowl. Add the chicken pieces and toss to combine. Place in the fridge to marinate for 30 minutes or overnight.
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup. Thread the chicken onto metal skewers.
- Heat the grill to medium-high heat. Oil grill grates to prevent sticking. Cook chicken for 10 minutes, flipping, in between or until charred on the outside and cooked through on the inside.
- Serve with a side of shawarma sauce, if desired.
