Grilled Lemon Pepper Wings

Ingredients
- 1 kg (2lbs) chicken wings
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
- 1½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 tsp honey
- ½-1 tsp chilli flakes
- ½ tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- If your chicken wings are whole, split them by cutting the drumette from the flat. Use a sharp knife or kitchen shears and carefully cut in between the joint.
- Place the wings in a bowl. In a bowl or mixing jug, whisk together the oil, lemon juice and seasonings.
- Pour over the chicken wings, mix until well combined then cover and marinate for 20 minutes.
- Grill the wings over medium heat (on an outdoor barbecue/grill/braai or in a grill pan) until golden brown and cooked through (approximately 20-30 minutes).
- Remove from the heat, drizzle over lemon juice and serve.
