Ingredients
Pumpkin Cheese Ball
- 16 ounces cream cheese softened
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 green onions chopped
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups Nacho Cheese Doritos crushed
- crackers for serving we like Ritz crackers
Mummy Dogs
- 8 hot dogs
- 1 package Pillsbury crescent roll dough
- mustard for eyes and dipping
- ketchup for dipping
Spider Web Guacamole
- 2 cups guacamole
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- olives to make the spider
- Blue corn chips for serving
Instructions
Pumpkin Cheese Ball
- Place Doritos in a zip top bag and crush with a rolling pin or mallet. Dump the crumbs out onto a baking sheet.
- In the large bowl of a stand mixer, mix together the remaining cheese ball ingredients. Scrape into a ball with a spatula. Lightly oil your hands and shape the ball into a pumpkin shape. Place the ball on the baking sheet of Dorito crumbs.
- Clean off your hands and then scoop the Dorito crumbs onto the cheeseball making sure to coat all sides. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for at least 1 hour. Remove from the fridge and place on a serving tray. Top with the pepper stem. Serve with crackers.
Mummy Dogs
- Preheat oven to 375. Pat the hot dogs dry with a paper towel. Cut the crescent roll dough into strips and wrap them around the hot dogs like mummy bandages. Place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for about 15 minutes, or until the crescent roll dough turns golden brown.
- Using a toothpick, dot mustard onto the hot dogs to make eyes. Serve with ketchup and mustard for dipping.
Spider Web Guacamole
- Fill a bowl with the guacamole and smooth out the top. Place the sour cream in a piping bag or a zip top bag with the tip cut off. Pipe lines of sour cream onto the guacamole like the spokes of a wheel, starting from the center.
- Connect the lines to create a web.
- Cut one olive in half lengthwise for the body. Cut another olive in half and slice each half to make the legs. Place the body and legs of the spider on top of the web.
- Serve with blue corn tortilla chips.
Notes
- Nutrition Facts are approximate.
- The Mummy Dogs and the Spider Web Guacamole should be made the day of, but you can make the Pumpkin Cheese Ball ahead of time. Just don't roll it in the Doritos until right before serving or they will get soggy.
- You can use a spider ring instead of making an olive spider in the Spider Web Guacamole.
