These chocolatey delicious bars are super easy to make, and they're incredibly nutritious and protein-packed. Perfect for back to school lunches and snacks.

Ingredients
- 1 cup almond flour
- 2 cups dates pitted
- ½ cup almond butter
- ½ cup cacao or cocoa powder
- ½ cup hemp seed
- ½ teaspoon salt sea salt or kosher
- ¼ cup cranberries dried
Instructions
- Prepare a nine-inch square baking pan by lining with parchment paper
- Put all ingredients, except for the cranberries, into the food processor, and pulse until combined.
- Add cranberries and pulse a couple of times until they are incorporated
- Press mixture evenly into prepared pan
- Refrigerate uncovered, overnight
- Cut into bars

- These bars will seem a bit soft at first, but let them sit in the fridge uncovered, overnight. They will firm up nicely.
- Substitute any nut or seed butter for the almond butter for the same result.
