Holiday Sangria

Report
Holiday Sangria is a festive mixed drink that combines Moscato wine with cranberry, pomegranate, and orange juices, sweetened gently with simple syrup. Seasonal fresh fruits like apple, orange, lemon, and pear along with cranberries and pomegranate seeds add flavor and visual appeal. Served chilled with a float of champagne and ice, it offers a fruity, bubbly cocktail perfect for celebrations.

Description

The "Holiday Sangria" recipe calls for mixing Moscato wine with diet cranberry juice, pomegranate juice, orange juice, and simple syrup to balance sweetness. Sliced fresh fruits including apples, oranges, lemons, pears, along with whole cranberries and pomegranate seeds, are added for texture and festive color.

The sangria is chilled for at least four hours or overnight to allow flavors to meld. Before serving, champagne is floated on top and ice is added to glasses, providing effervescence and refreshing chill. Fruit pieces are served using tongs for convenience.

Simple syrup is prepared in advance by dissolving equal parts sugar and water over medium heat and cooling. This sangria blends tart and sweet fruit notes with sparkling wine for a celebratory drink suited to holiday gatherings and warm-weather parties.
