Holiday Spiced Toffee Recipe
Report
This delicious Holiday Spiced Toffee Recipe has nuts and white chocolate to kick the flavor up a notch. I love to make it in little muffin tins to give out.

Ingredients
- 2 butter unsalted, sticks
- 1 1/4 Cups brown sugar
- 1 Tablespoon corn syrup
- salt a pinch
- 1 Cup white chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 Cup mixed nuts
Instructions
- In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, cook the butter, sugar, corn syrup and salt. Mix with a wooden spoon
- Insert a candy thermometer and cook until it reaches 300 degrees or Hard Crack stage*
- Meanwhile, add a few nuts to the bottom of a greased mini muffin tin
- When toffee reaches the proper temperature, carefully pour into each mini muffin crevice
- Cool for 3 minutes and add the white chocolate chips on top of the toffee. Wait 2-3 minutes until the toffee melts and spread the chocolate with the back of a spoon
- Sprinkle more nuts on top
- Let it set in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours
- Enjoy!
Notes
- *If you don't have a candy thermometer simply test the mixture every minute but pouring a little toffee mixture in a glass of water. If the toffee turns solid and hard it's done.
