Homemade Lemonade Recipe

We love this Homemade Lemonade Recipe - especially because only three ingredients and 15 minutes stand between you and a glass of perfectly sweet and slightly tart homemade lemonade!

  • 7 cups water divided
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup lemon juice about 8 lemons, fresh squeezed
  • lemon for garnish, slices

Instructions

  1. Pour 1 cup water and sugar into a small pot and simmer over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
  2. Transfer simple syrup to a large bowl and stir in lemon juice.
  3. Stir in remaining 6 cups water until completely combined.
  4. Fill a large pitcher with ice and pour in lemonade.
  5. Fill glasses with ice and lemon slices. Pour lemonade into glasses and serve.
